Just, well...updating.

If I've been quiet, it's for a good reason.

If I've neglected this site, know that I've focused my energies elsewhere.

The frgmnts app is nearing a state of readiness that I didn't think was possible in the short time of its existence. I was targeting summer '26 for the App Store review process; now I am thinking it may come to fruition closer to end of April/early May.

I believe the app to be feature ready for the 1.0 release. My only focus remains fit and finish - I want to make sure every surface, word, tap element, and color is purposeful and relevant. I want navigation to be a breeze. I want usability to be primary and enjoyability to cascade naturally afterward.

I really, truly appreciate the feedback that I have received from my small pool of early beta testers. There were insights given that led to me finding solutions I never imagined possible. Features have grown out of the results of conversations between family and friends alike. It was never my intention to build this app within the echo chamber of my own suppositions. I am so glad to have the input of others so that the experience is not just a mirror of my own ambition, but the tastes of everyone who had a hand in its initial journey.

I hope that an eventual App Store review and anticipated acceptance will open the gates to an influx of users. The TestFlight process, while useful for gathering data, has been rough for a certain subset of my users. To anyone who reads these words, the initial testing phase is not over yet! If you want to invite anyone to join up, please be generous with your seat code invites.

As always, let me be the one to say; thank you.
