Outside The World // Privacy Notice

A Smaller, Clearer Privacy Notice.

Outside the World is New, LLC operates Outside The World and related brand pages, including the frgm<nts teaser currently hosted at outsidetheworld.com. We try to collect as little as possible, explain plainly what is collected, and avoid turning visitors into behavioral inventory.

Updated March 30, 2026

1. What We Collect

Most public OTW pages can be viewed without creating an account or submitting personal information.

  • If you join the frgm<nts waitlist, we collect the email address you submit.
  • If you email us directly, we receive whatever information you include in that email.
  • Some site pages may use analytics or third-party widgets that collect technical usage information such as browser, device, page view, or interaction data.

2. Waitlist Information

The frgm<nts waitlist currently stores submitted email addresses in a private repo-backed ledger used to review interest and prepare launch outreach. We use that information to manage the waitlist and contact people about frgm<nts launch-related updates. We do not sell that list.

The planned frgm<nts app is currently intended only for people age 13 and older. The current waitlist is meant for that audience and is not intended as a sign-up path for children under 13.

3. Professional Inquiries

If you use the professional inquiry form on the OTW professional archive, we collect the information you choose to provide there, such as your name, contact information, inquiry type, and brief comment.

We use that information to review business interest, respond to outreach, and maintain basic records of professional conversations. We do not sell those submissions.

4. Analytics and Third Parties

Some OTW pages currently use Google Analytics. Some pages also use third-party integrations such as Web Reactionz or other embedded tools. Those services may collect information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

If a page includes a third-party script, browser/device data or interaction data may be processed by that provider when the page loads or when you interact with the embedded feature.

5. Local Storage and Drafts

Some OTW tools and private publisher surfaces store drafts, settings, theme preferences, or publish-key related data in local browser storage on the device being used. That storage is meant to support drafts, recovery, or app behavior on that device.

6. How We Use Information

  • To operate the site and related publishing/app surfaces
  • To maintain the frgm<nts waitlist
  • To review and respond to professional inquiries
  • To understand basic site usage and keep pages functioning
  • To respond to support or contact requests

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information submitted through the current OTW waitlist flow. Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers used to host the site, run analytics, or support embedded features.

8. Retention

We keep submitted waitlist information for as long as reasonably needed to manage launch communications, evaluate interest, or maintain business records, unless a longer retention period is required for legal or operational reasons.

The same general retention logic applies to professional inquiry submissions, which may be kept as long as reasonably needed to review work opportunities, respond to outreach, or maintain business records.

9. Your Choices

If you want your waitlist email removed, or if you have a privacy question about OTW or frgm<nts, contact ryandavid@outsidetheworld.com.

10. Scope

This notice covers the OTW site and related teaser/legal pages presently hosted in this repo. Separate app experiences, private tooling, or later product launches may publish more specific privacy disclosures where needed.
