Not in my Nature
I hate keeping secrets.
I don't hate the actual secrets themselves, but I have a hard time tamping them down. There is, after all, an art to timing, and value to be found in well aged and mature processes.
And I do love the moment of unveiling! Especially if the secret maintained itself well and was a pleasant surprise unto all it was revealed.
Walking into a weekend shortly, and we are starting it off by a trip to the movies to see the next Super Mario Bros movie. I don't care if it's good or not. The writing won't matter. Art direction, voice acting, plot devices, narrative structure? I couldn't care less.
It's a movie with Super Mario in it. Sign me up, take my money and feed me sugar.
In other news; I bought the book Apple: The First 50 Years by David Pogue.
I opened it up upon receipt and gave it a hurried glance, and loved what I saw. Full color pictures on each page. Glorious details of the rise of the company synonymous with smart phones and apps. When I find time to sit with it and digest the stories within, I'll return with a partial review.
We also celebrate Easter, and remember our Lord who showed us the best way to live and love. I am grateful for the gospel writers who saved His words for generations. Whenever you feel down, alone, or afraid, keep it mind that He bore those exact emotions too. Ask Him how.
That's all, for now. Sad sack of a brain won't let me dive any further, I'm afraid. Time to rest and recoup before Monday brings it to pass all over again.
For the which, I might add, I am forever grateful to be a part of.
