The Winter Cycle

RyanDavid Burningham
Perhaps it's the way the long winters make us forget our past and allow us to live a little more with each passing year. We can watch the smiling faces in their passive states, and smile ourselves because we agree. Because all of us forget the cycle. We don't remember the summer's heat. The long winter made us forget our past once again. And nobody seems to mind, so we can stay anxious for the next moment. For the next day brings hope. And could we all use that? Yeah.
