Wasted Harmony

RyanDavid Burningham
The earth was ok today, the sky looked just right, and the clouds were meshing quite nice. But I gave it no thought. I peered through to my backyard this evening. The bright orange sunset caught my eyes and went no further. I gave it no room for growth. The cool summer night called out my name, but I felt too sorry for myself and cast aside the harmony of another wasted effort of nature. Wasted on me. I refused to listen and now I'm alone.
