Clouded Lenses

I chose my background long ago. I make my foreground as I walk. And I see things clearly through clouded lenses. Understanding the direct nature of living (or possessing the power to do so) enables the human mind— and once again can focus. Aforementioned statement— and I believe that it's true. Could I have really chosen this?
